Help! Winterizing RV

Hey all,

You’ve all been so helpful so let me say thanks first off. I need to winterize my cougar and I don’t see the classic 3 valve bypass for my hot water heater...

Instead I just see one valve. It looks like its on the line that feeds fresh water into the water heater. Does this mean I just need to flip that switch or do something else?

If you have a single valve on the cold water line that all that's needed is to turn it a 1/4 turn so the handle line up with the other water line. The hot water line should have a check valve to keep the cold water from flowing back into the tank.

That's it for bypassing the hot water heater but there's a lot more to winterizing that just bypassing the hot water heater.
