I hooked my cable up at the campground and had no signal. I took the TV outside and directly hooked it up and it worked fine. I took the inside antenna plate off and found two coax wires going to the plate, but none were hooked to the backside of the one I used. I connected the black wire to the backside of the one I was using and it works now. I need some help figuring out this connection. I have a 2017 Hideout 177LHS, it has a HD antenna and a booster but there is nothing to help with how this is supposed to be hooked up. I have a black wire that comes from the outside coax, and a white coax that probably goes to the antenna on the roof. right now I have the black wire connected to the connector that you cant see in the photo.
Thanks for the help.

I can’t read all the connections but since you have 3 on the circuit board they are most likely:

ANT- that’s the connection FROM the roof antenna

CABLE- that’s the connection FROM the park cable input.

THIRD- if it says TV2, it’s the OUT to the other TV.

Trying to identify what coax is what is much easier with a coax tester. You can get a cheap one at most big box hardware stores.

My guess would be the white is ANT and the black is CABLE, but without being there it’s just a guess.

Sorry for the bad pictures, there is also a 4th connection on the backside of that plate.

4th connection is on the plate and not connected in any way to the circuit board? If so that is SATELLITE in

From the picture the bottom is cable, middle is antenna which leaves the top as a TV connection.

When I use the campground connection I use the connection you cant see. I have one coax left to connect, but three choices.? Can this all work through the one connection, the campground cable on one, roof antenna on the other, and maybe the third looks like it says FM? Would be nice to have some instructions with this camper.

FM is for the radio antenna. Instructions are not included, LOL.
Some manufacturers use different color coax to ID which is which. If they are all black then you need an Ohm meter, or the coax tester and time.

I assume you turned the booster off when you first hooked up to park cable?

Winegard uses these power inserters, according to their installation/owners manual for the "bat wing" antennae the connections are (from top to bottom in your picture) Set 2 (output to a second tv) the middle connection is the cable input and the bottom one is for the antennae mounted on your travel trailer. The connection on the other side of the plate that isn't shown in the picture is output #1 to your tv (I think marked tv1 in your first picture). When you use a cable connection or a satellite dish to watch tv you do not push the power inserter button to the on position.

In your photo of the backside of the amplifier plate the "FM" you are seeing is actually an FM "block", not the indication of the coax connector. If you look at the top (according to the orientation of the posted pic) of the center coax you will see printed "ANT".
