Once upon a time we were traveling south to a senior RV park in AZ to get away from the northern cold. While parked near Provo, UT the 1st week in November we decided to take a tour thru Uinta National Forest. We left early in the morning and got back at dusk. The drive thru the park was all on paved roads. These are just a couple of pictures taken along the way. Two were from a ski lift in operation for people to observe the colors from that perspective. It was a very enjoyable ride. If you have a chance for a fall visit, don’t miss it.

Yessir!! One of our favorite drives (Alpine Loop) and our favorite time of the year to go.
Great photos of the area although the ski lift now services mountain bikers as well as sightseers it's still a great way to see the sights.
A good place to camp nearby is Wasatch State Park. We do live in a "Pretty Great State"

WoW! Now I've got the "hitch itch". I just want to "saddle up" and go.
