Did you look for access from inside the pass-through storage on the same side as the tank fill & water connection ports? Ours is in a similar location but is accessed from inside the camper (through a removable panel in the bedside cabinet base).

I've got the RBSWE, which I think is identical as far as the front bedroom layout. Mine is on the street side under the carpeted "nightstand." Lift the bed hatch, you will see the carpeted box extending "through" the compartment sidewall. The top surface slides into the compartment, carpet and all, exposing the pump.

(Ah, wait... I see now that you said 29, not 26. Well, give it a try, anyway.)

would you happen to have pictures of that hatch area?

And there can be screws hidden in the carpet.

RK in your trailer type means rear kitchen? On our rear kitchen Cougar 5ver, there is only a couple feet of hose from where the water inlets are and our pump is under the nearest cabinet. You just take out two screws to remove a fake wood panel and the pump is right there.

I have a 2014 cougar Fifth wheel 29 ft and mine was in back next to the couch by the water outlet on the left side.

Good idea for holding open the bed. Thanks for posting!

When we installed a heavier mattress, I upgraded the gas struts, but the original geometry didn't scale well. The cover now has a neutral weight when closed (so I can't boost the struts any further), but still won't stay up when open. Rather than re-engineer the strut geometry, I just said screw it and cut a length of PVC.

Same issue after replacing our lightweight King with a couple sweet twins. A simple piece of pVC will save my shoulder! Thanks.

My 29 BHS Cougar TT, the water pump is on the l/s of the bed, lift up the end of the bed were the storage is, the carpeted lower shelf lifts up, it is were all the water connections come into the trailer.

I had the 2018 Cougar 32RLI, and that's exactly where my water pump was (on the left side of the bed when you are standing at the foot of the bed.

We have a 315RLS and its behind the wall on the driver side, in front of the wall where the water comes in from the outside.

Did you find yours ? Mine appears to be inside a nightstand but it is carpeted too.
