Hello all. I am considering adding a compression brake to my 2005 Dodge 2500 with the Cummings diesel. I use the truck to pull our 37' Raptor toy hauler. I would love to hear comments on benefits as well as risks, and, any recommendations as to brand/model. Thanks. Will

I'm sure that everyone has their "favorite".. Mine, based on 30+ years ago experiences with Banks Power, is: Banks Power.

Here's their website, do your research carefully, not all "diesel add-ons" are equal.....

Well on our 2001 Ram with NV4500 (5 speed manual) I installed a PacBrake with great results, looking at same for DD's 2004 Ram 3500 DRW with auto.

I installed a PacBrake on my '97 automatic and had to play games with modules and lockup switch to make it work. It didn't work completely the way I would have liked but it was way better than not having it. I will be adding a PacBrake on my '07 6 speed manual one of these days...
