Door window

Hi everyone. So we just purchased a 2020 bullet and decided hanging a towel from the door to black out some light was a little awkward!. On our previous trailer we installed a small roller blind but decided to spend a bit more and install the AP thin shade. The only trouble is there are no screws on the interior frame of the trailer window. All searched videos show people removing screws etc (not for this year of trailer). It appears the inner trim needs to come off to hopefully reveal some screws or it may just click together to the outer frame. I don’t want to force it so any help would be much appreciated!

I think if you look closely around the edges of the trim you'll see small slots that you can stick something in to release the clips. I know someone has posted pictures of this.

Thanks SteveO57, I saw the slots and did use a flat blade screw driver to try and pry the trim off but you may be right, perhaps there are clips to release. I will take a better look, thank you

I installed the slim shade last week. Advice, tape the widow to the frame, I used painters tape several small pieces on inside. Turned over on the work bench and taped a lot more on the outside. That held the glass in place nicely. I did the removable and install myself. If you can get help it is advised.

I think you push in to unlatch the clips. Some have just used the brute Force method since your replacing it anyways.

So I managed to install the thin shade on our door and wanted to share the removal of the original door frame as there are no screws. The inner frame is removed by inserting a trim tool in the slotted holes around the inner frame edge and releasing the clips. Hope this helps others.

I just installed two Thinshades. When removing the original trim I used about 8 to 10 hacksaw blades. Insert a blade in each slot and work your way around pulling the inner trim off.
