OK here's one I haven't seen / found here. Unit is a 2016 X-Lite with the couch & dinet in the slid out. Problem is now when I pull my slide in you can see & hear the screws that hold the bench back for the dinet to the wall popping out ? Easley a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap visible now when the slid is in, any thoughts.

It sounds like the floor is "bowing" when the slide comes in, pulling the dinette seat back away from the slide wall????? The slide floor may be broken, rotted (water leaks) or catching on a roller/slide pad and raising up enough to make the floor buckle. It could also be loose or coming loose at the floor/slide sidewall corners ??

You might want to do some more "close watching" to make sure exactly what is moving and how much by stopping the slide and measuring every inch or so as you pull the slide in.... I'm guessing here, but I'd suspect it does the same when you're extending the slide as when you're retracting it ????

Yep it does as far as I can tell, with the slid extended the seat back tightens up against the wall. I didn't notice this condition until I returned from the weekend camping trip over some very ruff roads. Not roads that the unit hasn't seen before. Unfortunately I won't be able to get back out to it for a while. Just wanted to put the question out there to see if anyone else has had a similar issue. Thank you much for your response, I will follow up on your suggestions.

mine did this in the first year, they fixed it under warranty. they took apart the "dinette back" and rescrewed it to the wall. I think the bolt or screw or whatever stripped out that attached to wall. This is probably your problem.

Bad news is disaassmbling the wood back to the dinette, no screws, etc. they did a decent job tearing into it but there is some lame clear sealant on it now that nobody will ever see but if cushion is off you see it.

Boy that sounds like a do-a-bull fix. I just got in from looking at it again and saw nothing of the floor "bowing". I do thank you for your feedback, and hope to get back out on it again it this weekend.

I cant thank you enough. It does now seem like a problem I can fix myself. Your Pic was a big help, I'm working on the opposite bench but the very same issue. Again thank you!
