Bent spring on one side only

Looking for spring upgrade advice in case I don’t get what I need from my dealer. Major problems with springs on our 2018 3220BH on one side only. From day one I have used scales at the local gravel pit or most recently the Haul Gauge OBD unit and app. Thankful I have documented most everything I have ever done with this rig because of the horror stories and can absolutely guarantee this trailer was not overloaded. Hoping the dealer can honour the bumper to bumper extra warranty in a timely manner. Thanks so much for any and all help with make and model springs y’all may have experience with.

Since you know you weren’t overloaded, and assuming you didn’t hit one of those legendary upstate NY potholes, I’d be concerned about this failure. If the insurance company covers the damage, you’ll get a replacement of what you’ve got. If they don’t cover the damage, I’d go to a good trailer or axle shop and have them upgrade both sides to heavier leaf springs.

I used to tow with an F250 and the rear end sagged quite a bit when towing. I went to a local axle shop to get air bags, but they convinced me I wouldn’t like the ride and should simply add a leaf to each leaf spring. I did so and was very happy with the performance of the upgraded leaf springs.

I'm guessing those are Lippert axles? They look like 3" tubes with 10" brake hubs? If so, they're rated at 3500 pounds. All that information should be on a sticker located in the center of each axle beam.

Lippert just announced a 6 year warranty on some of their axles, but before that, there was a 3 or 5 year warranty, depending on the model number.

You might want to do some research on the length of your warranty and hopefully, Lippert will "spring for the repairs" (pun intended)....
