Took my trailer in to service Tuesday at 3 PM. All DC equipment was off except CO/Propane detector and Furrion radio faceplate. Specifically know that I checked TV booster, water pump, lights, and fridge to be off; I'm not aware of any other DC loads.

Service was performed Wednesday, and unit was picked up Thursday noon. When I attempted to work the tongue jack, it failed. Lippert leveler screen was complaining that the battery was down to around 9.3v. I had to cable up to the truck to get hitched.

This seems unreasonable to me for two days of only vampire loads, no?

Lippert system may or may not be part of the issue here. It turns itself on any time I diddle with the tongue jack, and it's not clear it ever turns itself off, if I don't stick my head in the cargo hole and do whatever I need to to turn it off manually. If I don't open the hatch, I never hear the annoying beeping. Does it eventually time out and turn itself off, or do I have to do it?

Normally this is all invisible to me because when I'm not hooked up to the TV (which charges the battery) I'm hooked up to shore power. I'm not a boondocker.

You may have a defective battery. If it’s not a sealed battery then a hygrometer can be used to test each cell. Another possibility is the SERVICE center left a light on for a couple of days.

Not sure what a "device center" is, but I see I overlooked the inCommand unit as a source of possible drain.

The battery was load-tested on the road in April and pronounced "like brand new" (which it was in October); I last topped it off about two weeks ago. I just threw away my petrified hygrometer, so it's back to AutoZone...

Were you hooked up to shore power until you took it in? If your battery was drawn down it won't get much of a charge by being hooked up to your tow vehicle for a short trip.

What kind of service did they do? Is it possible they ran it down by having a bunch of stuff turned on or left on while it was there?

Beware of typos, a hydrometer is used to test specific gravity of the cells. :)

Thanks...autocorrect can get you in trouble if your not paying attention.

Brakes and bearings. I didn't leave them keys for anything, so the only lights they had access to were the front cowl and the jack, neither of which were in their work area.

It occurs to me that if they used my emergency brake switch to do any of their brake testing and were sloppy about it, that could've run down the battery.

Yes, the trailer stays attached to shore power while it's in my yard.

We will pull the break away once the trailer is in the air to test the brakes, but that only takes a few minutes.

If your entry door wasn’t deadbolted, the shop had access. Not saying they did, just that they could.
