Amber porch light

2009 Keystone Springdale 266rlssr. Amber porch light quit working. Decided to just replace the entire fixture due to sun fade and age. It still doesn’t work even after checking that the wires were hooked up correctly. Where do I go from here?

bad switch? You might pull the switch and jump the wires to see if the light comes on.
