Ĥello: as a new owner of a 2014 retreat 39fkss that is arriving to replace our 04 Nuwa 5th i am trying to find the water pump as well as where fellow owners are installing a EMS Surge protector and the remote for same. i have not had any time to explore the unit yet to try and locate the incoming power cable routing.i would imagine there is a hot water tank bypass for winterizing somewhere,

sounds like this this isn't your first rv you can figure everything out pretty much on your own.


pump, turn it on and listen. etc etc. by pass, just follow the pipes and make sure there is water in your hot water tanks when you turn the electric on...:-)

Not familiar with your model, but in general, the bypass is on the back side of the water heater. EMS behind the power center is most common place. Put the remote display at a convenient place above it in the cabinet. Cut a hole and fish the line. You're done.
