My dining table legs just ripped out of the floor and it looks like maybe the screws to attach it to the floor are too short. Is there a problem with putting longer screws in to attach it to the floor? I'm worried of what's under the floor, I'd hate to screw them into a tank and cause a leak? Help...thanks in advance!

Tough to tell you what's under your table without a clue as to what model you own...!

From a similar thread today.

If you install a pedestal table, be careful not to screw through the slide floor as the point on "too long screws" can tear the carpet/vinyl when the slide comes in. If your dining area is not in a slide, be careful because there may be a tank, a ROMEX run, a water line or a heat duct directly under the floor. Screws driven too deeply can penetrate any of those structures.....

I made the mistake of using longer screws to fix mine and have the cuts in my kitchen flooring to prove it.
