Guessing this is not the way this should be put together.23058
The wiring from the 5th wheel (one wire) was out of the rubber channel. Tried hard to open up the channel and route everything into the channel then use electrical tape to keep the channel together. The main plug into the truck, the plastic grommet had pulled out of the outlet box. Thinking the jostling on rougher roads caused a shorting and would blow the fuse on the running lights.
To add to the problem, two weeks ago I took the truck into the local Uhaul in Coeur d'Alene and they replaced the 7 point plug on the rear of the truck. It had corrosion through three of the plugs and was a mess. That was another issue that would pop a fuse.
When I plug everything back in to take it back to storage we will see if the fuse issue is now behind us...
