Slide Is Stuck In

Anyone have issues with their slides being stuck in? Slide motor runs, we can hear the clutch click but have no movement out. Slide is square to the trailer so it looks leveled on each side. This happened once before so we took everything apart and put it back together but we still don’t have an idea of what is actually causing the issue.

Posting what make/type trailer you have and which type of slide mechanism you have would be helpful.
On our Cougar, the living room slide stuck in as you describe. The clutch made its ratchetting noise with no movement. Went under the trailer and loosened the jam nuts on the bell stop and then loosened the bell stop about 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Slide went right on out. Re-tightened the jam nuts - never had the issue again.
Of course, that will only work if you have the rack-and-pinion type mechanism.

Sorry it’s a 2010 Keystone Laredo 303tg. And that is the type of slide we have.
