If you turn the pump on and run the water you should be able to hear where the pump noise is coming from. Look around that area, under the bed, inside of a cabinet, etc and you should find an access panel. The panel may have screws or it may be tacked on with small nails or staples.

If the pump is no longer working I would look for the access panel close to where the fresh water fill port is.

The location for mine is near the fresh water fill port and the access panel is under the bed.

Thanks for the reply. The pump is not working. Rig is new to me. Looking for a location so as not to tear open spaces unneededly. No obvious locations under bed or externally near the gravity fill.

On many "front bed floorplans" the water pump is located in the bedside table on the road side of the trailer. There are two or three screws in the carpeted top of the platform. Remove the screws and the carpet acts as a hinge to open the top of the bedside table. On some of those floorplans, there is a "hole" or a panel inside the bed base storage to access the pump.

We've owned a 293RK and you are correct. It is on the driver's side carpeted nightstand in front of the drawer right next to the bed. But there aren't any hidden screws. Is fits very snuggly, just grab the "shag" carpet on top and tug. It should lift up.

Thanks. Tried tugging but no movement. Gonna inspect better and look for possible fasteners when we get home. Hooked up to city water at a campsite as a fix for this trip.

By chance, now that we are home, does anyone know the model pump used in this unit so I can have it ready when I do the replacement. Putting it off for a bit until the heat wave is over.

On a 2012 trailer, chances are good that the actual "model number" of your pump is no longer available. Manufacturers change model numbers as the years progress and the pump "evolves". It may be something as simple as changing the color of the pump head plastic that prompts a new model number while everything else is exactly the same.

What you want (if you're attempting a "one for one" exchange, is to buy a replacement with the same type plumbing fittings. FloJet has two types, clip on and screw on. SureFlo typically only uses screw on fittings. There are several other brands available, but those are the two predominate pumps in Keystone products.

Honestly, who knows what's in your actual trailer, even though most in that year had FloJet pumps from the factory. To "know for sure" what you need, you'll have to access the pump and look at what's there. If you "attempt to buy a "for sure retrofit" you've got a 50/50 chance that you'll be making a trip to the hardware store to buy fittings for the hoses.

It's best to actually look and see what you'll need.

One more issue. Is the pressure cutout switch part of the pump or a separate item?

It's built into the pump head on all FloJet and SureFlo pumps.
