Not sure why but my hydraulic slides, and leveling are dead in the water. I can hear the pump engage and spin but nothing moves. Any ideas. It is a level up system and a 4 slide hydraulic system.

Fluid level? Does it change when the pump is engaged?

Fluid reservoir was about half full. All jacks were down and all slides were out so half full seemed good. Originally I was trying it from my phone. I went in and used the touchpad I. The coach and it all worked. Just makes me wonder what the issue was because phone my phone the pump was running so it should of moved.

We are getting ready for a trip from Michigan to Tennessee. Hope it doesn’t do this when we are down there. Well maybe it would be good to tell the boss I can’t come home.

We don’t have any units with that system so I’m sorry but I’m not much help.

Lol. You can’t know EVERYTHING. I have a unit with this system and I don’t know much either. Hoping it just stays working. The valves are electric and not manual so there is nothing I can manipulate.

Since the hyd pump motor is running when you use the phone app the BCM is not getting the command signal to open either the solenoid for slides ... only 1 solenoid for all slides... when trying to use the cell phone app

Got that right!! Even the guys at the factory that are supposed to have the answers don’t always.

Wednesday, brand new $385,000.00 Phaeton XHS. Fresh tank won’t read full, figure sensor pack. Pull off a panel and I see things I’ve never seen, call the other senior tech and he’s scratching his head.

So we call tech support, as soon as I describe the issue he says “welcome to my world”, it’s a spyder systems thing we have no idea. Brand new technology, so I guess I will learn...getting ever so closer to “everything” LOL.

And since all functions worked fine when using In command tablet the app has an issue

I tell you there’s simply TOO MUCH to these things.

I used the app after it was closed up to open it back up. I doubt it was the app because the pump was spinning. I don’t know what it was but hopefully it was a one time thing. Chuckster I don’t know how you keep up. There are defiantly jobs on these coaches that I wouldn’t want to do. Mine has to have a slide removed and a floor replaced.

We’ve done a few full Lino replacements. It’s all “trial by fire” as we get zero documentation about upgrades/changes.

What should have occurred is this...

... if pump developed full rpm from motor pressure would have built up in the system since no solenoid valves opened to allow slides or levelers to move.

... the pump pressure cutoff switch should have shut the motor off after system pressure reached the cutoff switch pressure setting thus shutting off the pump motor

I wish you luck in your endeavors

Red circled item is pressure cutoff switch. Yellow items are solenoid valves for slides and leveling system.
