Could some one give me a heads up on what to do in terms of winterizing a trailer in Northern British Columbia? This will be the first winter we have owned the trailer.

Check out the forum thread at:

It also references the "How To . . . Winterize" YouTube video from Keystone.

I would definitely consider blowing all the lines out with compressed air and then follow that with pink RV antifreeze. If you don't have a Water Heater By-Pass, I would consider installing one.

Take a look at the above thread and YouTube first.

I was walking past the RV section in WM today, they had a pallet with at least 300 gallons of RV antifreeze. Was $3.97 a gallon. I started to buy 3 gal, but decided it will probably go on sale pretty soon. I hope they don't sell out before next weekend.... <sigh>

It's hard to believe it is that time of the year already :(

I'm in Michigan now but in Montana they either put them under roofs or build something to keep the heavy snow off. Nothing like going behind the barn in the spring and finding a pile where your rv used to be. A tall A frame with blue tarps helps ugly but it helps
