I purchased a cougar 22 lite camper new in 2016, only used it three times and was always cared for properly. Last fall noticed the top of the back of camper panel near roof all wavy . Anyone else have this problem and how can it be addressed. Keystone says its not a defective panel, they never inspected it so not sure how they came to that conclusion ....I will never purchase their product again...this trailer is garbage

Not much info on the factors that would contribute to the issue. Don't know your experience level with an RV or your maintenance habits but 3 years in and you start to have what sounds like possible water penetration....that's pretty hard to pin on the manufacturer without providing more specifics. Only using it 3 times in 3 years and letting it sit could sure be a problem.

I've been an rv owner for 20 years, first time with a keystone camper. when not in use it was stored in a garage and inspected every 3 months. We used it last summer for 2months in Western Ma. I think the heat did it, doesn't say much for keystone.

Remote chance it is glue failure but most likely delamination from water leakage. Your manual specifies frequent roof inspection and sealant touch up. Failure to do that voids the roof warranty.

BTW, welcome to the forum!

The only real fix for delamination is to replace the entire wall panel.

Without pictures it is hard to tell what you are talking about. The back panel on most keystone units is a loose piece only secured on the edges, windows, and ladder if so equipped. Most units have a slight curl near the top.

Hope this helps

Maybe some photos of the problem would help members visualize and understand the problems you're having with your trailer.

The description, "Last fall noticed the top of the back of camper panel near roof all wavy" could describe anything from "normal oil canning" (expansion of FILON sheeting when exposed to hot temperatures) to "fiberglass delamination" which is a much more serious issue. Of course there's literally hundreds of other situations and causes between those two extremes, so from what you've told us, it's "anybody's guess" what's really going on with your trailer.

As for Keystone not accepting responsibility for a "skin problem" on a 3 year old trailer, they won't typically accept responsibility for one that "10 minutes out of warranty" either, so don't feel "left out" by Keystone.....
