Fridge problem

2018 Passport 2520RL, Plugged up last evening to get the fridge cold for the trip this weekend and it only cooled to 70 degrees and now not working at all. The freezer is fine, cold as ever. I checked breakers, fuses. Any ideas?

First, is it a Norcold or a Dometic refrigerator?
Second, was the trailer level?
Third, did you try propane? or just electric?
Fourth, if the refrigerator is completely empty, it usually takes 24 hours to get cold.
Fifth, opening the door on an empty refrigerator will significantly slow the cooling process.
Sixth, if you check the temperature on an empty refrigerator, usually that process takes enough time for all the "cold air" to fall to the floor (door open) and will give you a "false high temp reading"

It's a Dometic, trailer is level and it had 24 hrs. to cool. I've never run it on propane but tried it and all I got was clicking like it was trying to light but never heard anything "light".
It looks like it started cooling but only cooled to 70 degrees and now it does nothing. Freezer is still fine. Still under warranty so I guess I'll take it to the dealer after the weekend trip. It's just frustrating, I've only had it out on 10 or 12 short weekend trips since I purchased it and things are already acting up.

The temperature in the fridge compartment is set using a plastic slider with an embedded temperature probe. The slider is attached to one of the cooling fins in the fridge compartment. Is it possible that this slider came off of the cooling fin?

Make sure this slider is on the fin and that the temperature probe is attached to the slider. Then try sliding it up (in the cooler direction).

As was mentioned, opening the door can really upset the cooling. It would be better to get an in-unit thermometer with a remote display, like this:

This is what I use and it works really well. Plus, I can carry the display in the truck while towing to keep tabs on the fridge.

One of the things I do to get ready for a trip the night before is to get the RV as level as possible, set the fridge on shore power and put frozen bottles or jugs of water in the fridge. This works great for cooling down the fridge and you can use the water once the bottles and jugs melt. I also have the thermometers Mark linked above and added a battery powered fan to circulate the air. The next morning I check the thermometer readings before we head out and switch the fridge over to propane after making sure the the propane is on and the stove lights.
