In my 2019 Alpine 3700FL, the toilet in the master bathroom has a weird quirk with the water. When I press the flush lever (halfway or all the way), it has really lower water pressure for a second or so and then the full water pressure comes through. The toilet in the other bathroom does not do this.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Yep every time. Are your two toilets the same?

I had a similar problem with the toilet in my new rig recently, and it turned out to be debris stuck in the intake filter screen at the valve. It's worth checking.

I can't say "for sure" but I believe the toilet valve is a two stage valve. It's designed to allow water to fill the toilet bowl at the first level and to open the valve/increase the water rinse action at the second level. If you think about it, if there's "solid stuff" in the toilet and you step on the pedal and get "full pressure" you stand a good chance of getting a "brown splashback" on your feet and knees. Better that the water "slowly ramp up" rather than "slam the stuff".....

I'd suspect the "weird acting toilet" is actually the one that's working properly and the "other one that doesn't do it" is the one to focus troubleshooting on.....

Here I was thinking it was eco friendly.... us guys don’t need water most the time. Fill it up ourselves and open the valve. Not much water needed.
