We where at Big Bend National Park and found water on the floor under the refrigerator after a hard rain . I removed the frigid cover it was damp but not flooded. I pulled the breaker box out and found water coming in around the outside plug mounted 3 inches off the floor I sealed it the next night another hard rain no water on the floor. The camper stays in the poll barn . All that keeps water from entering was fine line of silicone

Had a similar thing with our trailer. It was the mains connection in our case and it was leaking water into the bottom of the bathroom cabinet. In our case the factory had overdriven the mounting screws and they weren't holding the plug against the gasket so the factory just bogged it up with silicone, but did a slapdash job of it. I just replaced the whole fitting and gasket and mounted it with bolts instead of screws.
