Cougar 315RLS + F350 6.7L LB SRW. Opinions?

Hi. 1st time posting, but I've been reading a lot of good info here. Currently have a Passport TT and enjoy it. Looking to upgrade to a 5th wheeler for a fulltime retirement trip. I want to be relatively sure that I am good with all the weights.

I already bought the TV (a deal I couldn't turn down)
2013 Ford F350 6.7L Diesel, LB, SRW, 4x4, factory 5th wheel prep. 3.55 axle, King Ranch trim
GVWR=11,300 lb FGAWR=5900 RGAWR=6370 Payload 2973

DOES ANYONE HAVE REAL MEASURED WEIGHTS? (using weights from 7Iron below (thanks!))
Dry weight=10,740 Pin Weight=2120

Going through the numbers, it looks like I'm cutting it close (estimating 1500 lbs o' stuff for full timing).

Opinions / thoughts? Would especially like to hear from folks with the same rig(s).

I have the 330RBK wich is advertised as 1100 lbs heavier GVWR and about the same pin weight. count on your pin weight being about 500lbs heaver than lister. having said that I tow mine with 2014 F350 with the 11500 payload option and with the family loaded up I still have about 1000lbs of payload left over. truck pulls it very nice. take your truck across the scales empty with you and a full tank of gas to see what your real weight is, you might have more or less payload. but I think you'll be fine as it is your rear axel and front axel weights that determine your real payload.

Agreed, generally speaking it looks good. I am towing similar weights with a similar TV. I'm still within the specs and it tows great and feels secure.

This won't be what you want to hear, but you won't be within your payload limit posted on your door jam. 2973 is a bare minimum. Let's take 2600 out for your pin weight, 200 pounds for your hitch, and the list will continue. By the time you actually head down the road, in real figures, your payload will probably top out closer to 3500 pounds.
Nope, I'm not telling you not to do it. But I am telling you, from the voice of experience, what the real numbers are. Back in the day, most of us on here have towed so far out of the numbers that we're lucky to have made it home. Remember the boloney skins on the old '63 that was your first car? And you probably towed a friend's ski boat that wouldn't float much past the afternoon without bailing!:D
But we're smarter today (hopefully) and we make better decisions. Good information helps you make good decisions.

Steve Thanks. I did go to the local dump and weighed my TV (full tanks, just me)- 8,450. Add wife/hitch/stuff -approx. 8,850. And for the axles- front-5,900 // rear-6,730.

Jim - Thanks. And this is exactly what I want to hear - an honest, from experience opinion. I'm pretty confident in the TV weight @ 8850- used the town dump scale. I've calculated it a couple of ways, and the pin weight/TV payload are the limiting factors. Using the trailer GVWR (12390) 22% on the pin is 2725 (worst case). Gotta scratch my head some more ......

ok perfect, up here we just go to the truck scales when they are closed they leave the scale active so you can check weights. just take your max rear axel weight that is listed on the door sticker and subtract your actual weight with you and the wife in it and that will tell you how much payload you can still add.

for eg. my GVW for the truck is 11500lbs, front axels 5600lbs and rear axels is 7000lbs
empty with fuel and me I am at front 5093 lbs and rear 3483 lbs leaving me just over 3500lbs for trailer pin weight wife kids ect. with my trailer loaded and every one in the truck my weights are front 5093, rear 6173 and trailer 9326 so I still have another 507 lbs of room in the front and 827 lbs of room on the rear axels yet. with this trailer and my old 99 f250 I was 300 lbs over on my rear axel which is why I bought this truck.

Well our 2005 Keystone Copper Canyon is 12,360 GVWR, and it is right there, pin is 2,700#, put our Ram 2500 well over GVWR, with new to us Ram 3500 DRW we have 1,300# of spare payload.
