Buying a travel trailer toy hauler that is generator prepped. How hard is it to install an Onan 4000 watt generator? Is it plug and play since it’s prepped? Thanks

Should be pretty much. Look for the remote start harness, and junction box. If your rig is 50A I would look into the Onan 5500. Is it prepped for gas or LP?

Prepped for gas. Not prepped for 50 amp.

So one other question comes to mind, and it may be Capt. Obvious but, does your Toy Hauler have an onboard 30 gallon or ??? gallon tank?
