Hey Y’all!

We are looking to get a toy hauler....possibly Raptor.

We have two 4 wheelers and a dirt bike and are trying to decide between the 11’ and 13 ‘ garage. Does anyone have pictures with their toys loaded?

I don't have any pictures, but with the load you are going to carry I'm sure you have a "large", DRW tow vehicle....right? Just so I can sleep at night....:)

We are researching that as well. We have a 2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummings diesel, short bed. Looking for any under 40’, tandem axel. That’s about all I can quote off the top of my head.

You will need a 3500 DRW, minimum, to do what you are talking about IMO.

This is my 35 ft impact by fusion . I loaded like this ounce a year for quartzsite Az boondocking for 2 months . With 90 gallons fuel 120 gal water and stuff . I have 200 lbs to give on GVWR . And 400 over on GVW . My yellow sticker is 11600.

What your asking for is open floor plane . I have seen toy haulers with 18 ft boat and trailer in side .

Yeah we are looking into that as well, want to see what will fit our toys first, then determine what vehicle we upgrade to if needed.

Thank you! I was telling hub about the open floor plan model I saw...I think it was a carbon model. We are out on the east coast, would love to go to AZ!

Fuzion 385 with the 13 ft garage (minus bathroom space in corner).

It holds the Can Am Max and a Honda Rancher 420 with a few feet behind to possibly hold a dirt bike. I think 13 ft would be the minimum size needed or an open floor plan as suggested.

I am towing it with a 2014 version of the same truck about 500 miles a year. If bigger truck isn't in cards yet, I would recommend rear air bags and a CATS weight scale. Toy haulers are pin heavy by design. Slide hitches are also heavy (ours weighs over 200 lbs alone). Loaded we are under both GVWR and GAWR. Unloaded we are badly over on GVWR.:banghead:

Don't know if this helps. We have a 12ft garage, 8 1/2ft wide. I put four dirt bikes, the golf cart, and the large grill you see on the ground in there with other stuff like tool boxes, extra propane tanks etc. It was full.

PS - oh ya, I pull it with a 3500HD DRW. 15.5k GVWR on the trailer.

Not to be a stick in the mud or rain on your parade, any toy hauler you choose and do what you want it to do will require a DRW truck. The GVWR will most likely be over 15000 pounds. In most states you would be required to have a non-commercial class A driver’s license just because of the weight of the trailer. Just information to make an informed decision.

Looks like he does have a DRW truck and most states do NOT in fact require any special license. Just a few, and I choose to stay away from them anyway.

Doesn't matter if your state doesn't & others do, you don't have to avoid those states that do, if you're legal in your state is all that's required.
I know in Texas it depends on which official you talk to & how they interpret what the regs say as to whether you need the special license or not.

Hey Y’all!

We have two 4 wheelers and a dirt bike and are trying to decide between the 11’ and 13 ‘ garage. Does anyone have pictures with their toys loaded?

I recommend the 13' garage. Things to consider:

Does the trailer have a "party deck" with sliding doors? If yes, subtract about a foot of garage storage length.
Is the interior door (between main cabin & garage) a sliding door or a swinging door? If it swings into the garage and you want to be able to use it when toys are loaded, subtract the width of the door from the garage length.
Are the tie-down/anchor points adequate for your needs? If you need to add them, how will you do that? (There may be fuel or waste tanks below the garage deck that limit drilling from above.)
Is the height of the garage with any beds in their raised position adequate for the height of your toys?
Is the width of your garage storage adequate? Are their bathrooms, cabinets, washer/dryer sets, etc. that limit width? (Our toy hauler has a 2nd bathroom in the garage, so we have a 69" opening for the forward portion of the garage which limits us to a 64" SxS.)

I have a bumper pull Impact 330 with 12.5' Garage. I can easily put my 2 Polaris quads in side by side and their would be room for a dirt bike sized bike behind them on the angled portion of the garage floor.

I would go with larger garage. Needs change and usually need more space. Started with arctic wildcat had almost 10 inches of extra space now have maverick x3 I’m loaded wall to wall, wishing garage was longer.

I have the Fuzion 419 with the 15’ garage. I can get a large Grizzly and my XP100 RZR in it but it took work to do so.

The sliding doors in the back had to come off. I put down UHMW on the floor in front so I can slide the Grizzly sideways. No way to push it into place when the tires are in the garage floor.

Go with the bigger garage if you can. Make loading easy on yourself but you can be creative if necessary when loading.

2018 Raptor 398 has a 14' garage. Had a 660 Grizzly in there beside a 700 Kawasaki and had about 2" to spare each side, put a older 185 ATC behind them. Could have fit more but was getting close to wright limit.
