This will be my second question to the RV Forum. I have a 2011 Passport and the warranty (Dealer/Keystone) is up in October of this year. I am considering obtaining the Good Sam Extended Warranty. One offered by dealer is out of bounds on price. Has anyone had any experience with the GS Extended Warranty, pros or cons? I would like to hear from forum members.

Thanks for any info

I can't comment on the GS Extended Warranty but in general I think that the majority of our forum members would not purchase one --- from anybody. A few members do have one and it seems that they are bought to give the buyer "peace of mind".
Most would tell you to save the $$$ that it costs to buy the warranty and put it aside for any repairs that are needed but that you are not able to do yourself.
If you do decide to purchase the GS one, you should read all the fine print and find out what is NOT covered before you write a cheque.

When I purchased my Raptor, The dealer offered me a 5 year warranty for $1250 and If i took it, it would reduce my interest by .25%. In my case, the warranty costs about $7 per month, but over the life of the load was free with interest considered. I took it.... I know you are not dealing with a new one, but maybe this might help someone else...
