I have a 2016 Laredo 265SRL and we have been ok with the tv in the living room but now momma wants me to mount one in the bedroom. The power and jacks are already there but I need to mount a bracket to the wall. I haven't started drilling or poking the paneling to find if there is anything solid there.

Have any of you fellers done this? And if so do you have any hints. Common sense would be that there would be something to there to screw a mount to and hang a tv on.

My Cougar had a sticker on the bedroom wall below the TV connections, which are on the ceiling, indicating the location for a TV mounting bracket. However, tapping on the wall didn't seem to indicate that location was very solid so I used a stud locator to find the aluminum stud to which I attached my mounting bracket.

I have a friend/neighbor that bought a new Coleman 30 something foot trailer and had the sticker on the wall. He tried and tried and couldn't find it. He took it back to the dealer and they partially dis-assembled the wall and they didn't put the plate/mounting area in the wall when it was built....even though it had the sticker saying drill here!
