Plumbing Question 26RBPR

2018 26RBPR. There are two grey water tanks and one black water tank.

I have heard that the bathroom sink drains to the black water. Does anyone know if this is true? :ermm:

I am wondering where the outdoor kitchen sink drains to if the bathroom really does drain to black water?

So kitchen sink to one grey water; (Will call GW #1)
Shower to another grey water; (Will call GW #2)
Toilet to black water; (Will call BW)
and Bathroom sink and outdoor kitchen sink to ????: :confused:

Not sure where to find this information so any help will be appreciated.

Yes this is the final week-end of prep before our first outing next week. I am flushing and sanitizing this week-end.

I have the 22RBPR with one grey tank so not sure about the 26 specs. I need to check all of my drains as well. I plan on doing it this way:
If you can connect to an RV dump station or sewer cleanout, then you can open the waste valves one at a time, then run each fixture to see which tank it ends up in.

I am quite certain that the only thing that drains into the black tank of our 26RBPR is the toilet. The reason I say this is I have never seen any suds in the drainage from the black tank, I use a clear collar/extension to see what is coming out. We have had our camper since Sept. 2016 and used it dozens of times.

Hey Jeff, wonder if they changed it for 2018? Pretty sure I was told that BUT with TT a sales guy will tell you most anything, (Sure, you can pull that with a Subaru)
So, I am going to do what CampnBrew2 suggested tomorrow. After purging and sanitizing I am going to run water through each drain and observe which tank it comes out of. I will report back on Monday and let you guys know. I will say that the Keystone "Manual" does say "some models" drain the bathroom sink through the black water tank. BUT they do not say which models. :facepalm:

It does not make any sense that the sink would drain to the black water as the shower is right there so what you are saying is probably what I am going to find.

Oak, you need to keep one important thing in mind. Keystone has never, but never built two models the same coming off the production line. Whatever the person plumbing the unit the line decided is the way it was plumbed. USUALLY a sink goes to grey....:banghead:

OK, as promised a resolution to the plumbing quandary.
Camp N Brew2 your suggestion worked like a charm.



Jeff is the winner! Grey tanks only accept the grey water on my rig. So outside sink, bathroom sink and shower all go to Grey Water tank #1


Toilet goes to Black Water


Kitchen sink to Grey Water #2.


Now for the good part. :ermm: The tank empty valves have colored handles. Above the grey handled valve is a nice sign telling me it operates the Black Water tank
Above the black handled valve is a nice sign telling me it operates the Gray Water tank.


You guessed it the colors on the handles are correct the signage is reversed. :facepalm:


Gosh Keystone must be a fun place to work, all those jokers :lol: on the line.

Thanks you guys for the advise and help. I have cleansed the water system, pressure checked it. A-OK. We are almost ready for our maiden voyage this coming Thursday.

We have the 2019 Bullet 265 and have 2 grey tanks, front tank is kitchen sink only and rear grey is shower, bathroom sink and outdoor sink. We don’t really use the front grey (so far) because we use a basin in the sink and dispose outside most of time.

We are a little disappointed with 43 gal fresh water tank and have to be really frugal when boondocking. I often carry an extra 10 gal I keep outside for dog water and Pre wash rinsing for dishes. I never leave home without 3 step ladder which doubles as water tank holder outside with dog water underneath.
