Reno NV to Gold Beach Or

This summer I will be pulling my 35 ft 5th wheel from Reno NV to Gold Beach OR, just looking for adivice/suggestions on the best route?

You will need to check with ODOT for road conditions as there is a major slide on hwy 101 between Brooking and Gold Beach. It has restrictions now and will for a good portion of the summer for repairs. I would take 80 to Sacramento then 5 north to Orgon 42 to Coos Bay, then 101 back south to Gold Beach. It all depends on how fast they can get the road put back.
