What year is my 5th wheel

1. I purchased my 5th wheel at a local dealer and they advertised it as a 2006. However, the metal tag on the side of the 5th wheel indicates a manufacture date of 22 June 2005. Did I buy a 2005 at 2006 prices, or is it normal to build the 2006 line in mid June of 2005?

I'm sure it's pretty normal, but if you check the VIN of your trailer, the 10th digit should be a "6" if it's a 2006, or a "5" if it's a 2005. :)

I don't know for sure the dates but the 2012 are for sale now so I would say your right

From mid year on they are the next model year. Now thay are shipping the 2012's. My 2011 was made july 2010.

i bought a sprinter in march 2011 and it came in as a 2012 in march

Mine was built May of 2006 and I bought is February of 2007 and my title says it is a 2007........

We bought our Alpine 3460 at Holman's RV in Batavia, OH, we saved around $30,000 off of the MSRP. They are a wholesale dealer and have a very large inventory. The service has been great, but like others have posted you need to be concerned about dealer reputation. We live approximately 120 miles from the dealer and have had to take ours back to Holman's several times for issues with the camper. We have a Keystone dealer about 15 miles from the house, but they couldn't be the price at Holman's, and there service department is not the best.

Model years run from June 1st of the previous year to May 31st of the current year. So a 2006 should have a manufacture date anywhere from June 1st 2005 to May 31st 2006 to be called a 2006 but who knows what they are doing now and I don't know that all manufactures still adhere to this.
