Slow Awning retract and alignment

my awning is super slow when retracting. It even stops completely 4 or 5 times on the way in. Fast going out. This has been ongoing since i bought my trailer last year.

One side also does not close completely. Comes up 2-3 inches short. This issue is fairly new. pictures attached of good side and bad side.

Any thoughts on either issue? Or both?

Fabric needs to be slid forward or backward depending on which way it is off. The easiest way way is to remove the screw on the track attached to side of trailer left on on tube and slide the fabric a little one way or the other. Its not rolling in straight and binding the arms.
