No generator power transfering 2018 Raptor

Good morning I am new to the forum idea but after reading I see everyone is super helpful so thank you in advance. Keeping it simple I have a new 2018 raptor tow hauler. Generator starts with no issue. Generator makes power not problem. Transfer switch transfers no problem. Power leaves transfer switch no problem. PROBLEM once the power leaves the transfer switch it is lost. I do not have any power getting to anything in the camper. Upon delivery they ran the generator but I assumed it was good but I never actually checked if powered anything up. I noticed it right away once home. The dealer came to my house and changed the transfer switch but this did not work. Does anyone have any idea what is going on. Camper is at dealer currently and they seem to be lost as well. How did you verify voltage is in fact getting to the transfer switch and is in fact coming from the transfer switch to the breaker panel?

I used my electrical meter and checked on the line voltage in on the transfer switch. I also checked the load side leaving. Both have power. I shut the generator off and I lose the power. When I open up the circuit breaker panel the line side in to the main breaker has not power when I have power on load side of transfer switch. I almost feel like there is another switch somewhere that is off?

Do you have an EMS inline from the transfer switch to the circuit breaker panel? If so, if the generator has a "floating ground" the EMS may not be allowing power to pass through to the circuit breakers.

Done mind me but EMS? What is that. When I trace the wires out, the wires from the generator go direct to transfer switch. When leaving switch they disappear into the finished part of the camper. I have been unsuccessful in getting any information from Keystone on anything in between. I have been thinking that a bad ground may be the issue just have not found one

If you have 50 amp shore power then the wiring from the output of the transfer switch to the panel is good. Do you have a 30 amp generator? If so then it is possibly powering only half of the breaker panel.

I so have shore power. Generator is 50 amps as well. I checked each circuit out of the panel as I thought maybe the same thing. Dealer is having the same issue trying to figure it all out.

On our Carbon, shore power will is 120/240 volts. (Measuring 240 volt across the main breaker) When on generator power, it is 120 volt only. (Main breaker has 120 volt to both sides of main breaker measuring to neutral wire)
Are you measuring between lines to the main breaker? If so, measure from each wire of main breaker to neutral (or ground) and see if you get 120 volts.

It sounds like you have an EMS between the transfer switch and the breaker panel. The EMS is passing power when on shore power but for some reason it does not like the generator and is shutting the power off.

That would likely be a "floating ground" on the generator output.....

Most are comparable in what they monitor/protect and how they do it.

If you have a floating ground or phase reversed input, AND an EMS, chances are with shore power correctly phased and grounded, that part will work (as yours does) but with a problem in how the generator is connected to the trailer input, the EMS would "shut it down" (as yours does) .....

I doubt especially since the OP didn't know what an EMS was that he had requested one to be installed, they don't come standard on the Raptors anyway. It sounds to me like one breaker is tripped somewhere, maybe on the gen itself or in the panel. GFI Could be bad also though not sure how many 110 circuits actually run through it. Are you not getting any 110 power, microwave or outlets??

The appliances won't be on the GFI circuit which is normally 15A and only supports ONE circuit where the outlets supported by the GFI outlet are run in series. One goes, they all go. The microwave will have its own breaker and an outlet up in the box where the microwave is located or right next to it but hidden. Don't know if the refrigerator is on the GFI circuit as well but it might be as I can't recall off the top of my head.
