I hope that was a fully self contained RV, me thinks he was in need of making a #2. If he did not already. Seriously inmagine a vehicle or vehicles next to him when that happened. Even enough he did not hit another vehicle, that spinning can cause neck damage. When we trained the PIT spin outs, of course it was repeated for a 8 hour day. We needed to wear a neck brace and most including me still had neck problems and headaches.

Studying that little video, as the driver comes out of the fish tail and begins to U turn I believe he is still trying to finish his text......

I can just visualize his wife and friend riding in the back of the RV enjoying themselves and then whoa Nelly!

You know, with all the talk about safety of weights and tires and respecting other peoples road space, and all valid topics. Where would we be if we don't push the limits.

He's like " Here, hold my beer" Looks like the "China Bombs" held up really well. If they were returning from camping, i wonder if they dumped the black tank, if not.....................the inside of the car probably looks like the inside of the trailer....

Well European, the caravan was likely very light, no doubt he was gathering his thoughts afterwards.

Just shows you the US isn't the only place where people tow dramatically overweight. That setup is a hell of a lot more dangerous than a guy towing 500 lbs overweight with a 1/2 ton truck, that's for sure. They are WAY farther past their limits as a % than most towing heavy with a 1/2 ton here.

That trailer looks like about a 5 meter caravan. Chances are it doesn't weigh much more than about 1000 or 1100 kilos. I'd suspect the rig isn't "overweight" the TUV in the EU is far too strict to allow an overweight rig on the highway.

Looks like an add for a sway control hitch.

I don't know if that's really right. That trailer is going to be awfully light (I have one that just pulled in next to me similar). The TV doesn't even have a wdh.

Is the TV/trailer a way overweight combo? I don't really see that from what I can see (but they sure have trailers with low suspensions). Does that mean that the guy in this video illustrates that a guy that is 500lbs over weight with a 1/2 ton truck (payload? gvw? gawr?) is a lot less dangerous.....I think it is probably the opposite comparing the weights that would be carried by either vehicle.

Sorry, but it isn't everyone who 'Facebooks.' I'll forego my usual diatribe covering those who think it's important for the whole world to know what Baby Alice did this AM.

Just add some airbags and it should be fine.

My next door neighbour pulled a 25ish footer with a VW SUV of some sort. Made me nervous just looking at that setup. He has a brand new smaller Jayco now. Still a poor setup. But, what do I know.

Come on Jim, it's the only site on the big wide interweb that has given me 3 viruses! I run Norton, McAfee, Malwarebytes etc. but they seem to sneak it on one way or another. One cost $400 to have removed. Naw, I have tons of things to do and Facebook isn't on that list.....unless my kids/grandkids tell me they sent something.:o ...Then I just pull out the checkbook, open whatever they said and figure I'll have to pay someone to fix whatever Facebook did to me.:banghead:

On a Windows system there is no such thing as virus protection. Known maleware, to your system, is scanned. Zero day exploits waltz right through.
