I recently bought a 2019 Cougar 29BHS. It has the two bunks in the back with a pass through door. The bottom bunk folds up and there's room for two or three bikes. I'd like to install some cargo hold downs in the floor. The type where you can attach different fittings to them so I could mount bikes or strap down various cargo. Nothing real heavy. Bikes most likely. I'd prefer to keep them in the trailer. It's just my wife and daughter and I and my daughter wants the top bunk anyways, of course! I also have a paramotor that will fit in that area. It would be good if I could strap it to the wall or to the underside of the folded up bunk. Anybody ever done any of these things to their RV? I'm curious about the best method for drilling into the floor! Yikes! I had also considered just cutting a piece of light ply to the shape of that area and just laying it on the floor and attaching my mounts to that. But everything adds up in weight!

Biggest concern with drilling through the floor is the placement of the tanks. If your coroplast is held in by screws, it’s easy to take a few out and look. Riveted in makes it more difficult but doable.

I would plan, plan again and then plan once more.
