so we bought a used 2008 cougar 29 fks the other day and we live in it while my husband is in school for about 6 months. We have figured out how to properly clean and empty out our black tank but we can not figure out how to empty out our grey tank and galley at all. we kinda bought it on a whim cause we could not find housing in eastern kentucky that allows dogs. Not being able to shower or wash dishes is an obvious problem in our own home. anything helpful would be greatly appreciated! We are extremely new to living in a travel trailer full time or at all at that matter. thank yall very much

Welcome to the site. I'm sure a member with the same model will be able to help you with your question, but the valves should be at the same area.

First of all, welcome to the forum. We hope you enjoy time spent here and find it rewarding.

As for your "waste water storage issues," there is a valve handle "somewhere" under, along the trailer to open each of the tank valves. One tank/one handle/one valve..... three tanks, three valves, three handles.

Usually the shower/bath gray tank handle is located near/right next to the black tank valve. So, if you found the black tank handle, there should be another handle within 12" of that handle. If you don't see it, look for a hole in the frame rail or underbelly material that would indicate the handle came unscrewed and fell off the trailer...

Looking at your floorplan, it looks to me like there should be a bath gray tank valve/handle just forward of the black tank handle that you have found. Both should empty through the same 3" sewer outlet.

As for the galley gray tank, it is probably located directly under the galley sink, so that would put the valve on the driver's side of the trailer, either directly under the front edge of the slide or just forward of the slide, also, on the driver's side.

Often, the factory puts small (3/4"x2") decals on the side of the trailer immediately over the valve handle location. Usually those decals are located just above the plastic molding screw cover that separates the fiberglass from the aluminum bottom wrap on the trailer. This photo will show you the location of the black tank and gray tank decals on my Cougar.
