I would like to replace the 60" couch in our Bullet but when pulling out the front panel, I find a carpeted box approximately 4" high by 2-3 feet long under the current couch. Does anyone know what is housed in that box as it will be in the way of any framework on a replacement couch we install. On the Keystone RV website, there is a video showing how to manual handle the slide if it malfunctions and in that video, it shows the same slide set up as mine - with the motor and cables on the floor in the back of the slide. The Box sits to the left of the motor. Anyone have this design and known what it is for?

You probably can't adapt the slide by removing the box, so why not build a box that's the same size as the existing box that fits the remaining space behind the sofa and then cut the back legs off your new sofa (or, since most sofa legs just screw on, buy shorter legs if you can find them) so it sits level front to back?

Thanks, yes that may be what we have to do but we are not sure what we may be going thru to attach it. When we get it out of storage, we will have to investigate firther.
