Replacing a Piece of Siding

I have a 2006 5th wheel Outback Sydney Edition. It has a water leak from previous owner that I was unaware of above the bed in the far corner of the passenger side up near the window/cabinet area by the ceiling. So I guess over the years water had been getting in and created damage between exterior siding and the inside. So I was driving the highway when a large piece of the siding ripped off. My insurance quote came back for $4000 to fix it but they won't pay to fix due to it being caused from wear and tear. So I'm wanting to see about fixing it myself. Any ideas on where to get siding or what kind it is? Or how hard it would be to fix? Other than this my camper is in good condition and the inside is great. I attached a couple pictures of the damage.

It looks like you've got two places you need to focus. The side and the front panel. Both are FILON, a fiberglass sheeting material that's available at any RV service center or many online RV parts websites. FILON is relatively inexpensive, but shipping, because it usually has to be trucked to you, is cost prohibitive. You can usually get it at any local RV parts/service center for much less because they have a delivery contract with their supplier and don't pay "freight charges".

If you do a forum search, you'll find several threads posted by members who have done similar repairs. Their problems, issues, successes, how they did it and in many cases costs are well documented with photos and pitfalls.
