We just returned from a trip from home (WC Indiana) to NOLA with some stops on the return leg. In NOLA we stayed at French Quarter RV park, which has beat out Safe Harbor for most expensive place we have used. It was about 200/night. However-it was from 12/28-1/4 which is a prime tourist season in NOLA (Sugar Bowl, NYE, etc) and it was 3 blocks from Rampart St which is one boundary of the FQ. Very nice place, some of the most friendly staff we have ever found. One BIG plus is that they have true handicap accessible bathrooms that are not divided by men/women so that we did not have any problems getting my wife a shower (she can't do it by herself). Negatives are highway noise and no trees (no big deal in January. Very clean also.
On the way back we stayed at 2 Rivers in Nashville since Safe Harbor was closed. It was OK, but nothing great. The worst thing is that they have handicap accessible icons on their restroom doors but there wasn't a bar or assist of any sort in sight. We then went to Memphis for several days and stayed at T O Fuller state park. We will go here again, since we like Memphis and this is a pleasant, handy location that is heavily wooded and has good restroom and shower facilities. State parks seem to be good about that in our experience. Hope this helps those traveling in those areas.
