I joined earlier this month after buying a 2010 Keystone Hideout. My last two campers where 2007 & 2008 Jayco's. Neither where perfect. The 2008 kept having leaks so I traded it for the Keystone.

So far I am very pleased with the Keystone. The craftsmanship is better than the two Jayco's I had.

Before buying I searched RV.net and the majority recommends Keystone. Sure there are posts with problems but all brands have those posts.

When I found this sight after buying the Keystone I was a bit surprised with mainly negative posts. It made me second guess my purchase.

I'm here to tell everyone that my Keystone is well made with great craftsmanship and mine is the lower cost model.

I'm going to stick around and help out when I can. I'd love to see this forum grow and become a wealth of information for all Keystone owners.

Welcome sbebenelli, I too am a new member and I too was surprised at the number of negative, bashing Keystone responses. I was assured by 3 different moderators that these types of threads would be stopped and the individual responsible could be banned. I am surely hoping that this be the case.
A Keystone Manufacturer specific type forum can be of a great assistance to the many Keystone owners as well as those contemplating buying a Keystone product.
I think I will also hang around awhile.

Thank you for giving us a chance to make this forum a place where Keystone owners - present or potential - can come to and exchange ideas, ask questions, to offer assistance and solutions. It is also a place where Keystone owners should feel free to submit posts about issues or problems that they are having with their Keystone RV. As we have tried to point out, our expectations are that these kinds of posts do not unfairly criticize, trash Keystone or any other product. We are asking members to submit posts that are free from continuing negative, Keystone-bashing type of comments. Our expectations are clearly stated in our rules and there is a rule regarding negative posts. These rules as well as consequences have just recently been drawn up and made known. Hopefully, present members and especially new ones will take the time to read them before signing on as a member.
Having said that, I think that forums are, by their nature, a convenient place for people who have had bad experiences with their RV to vent their anger and frustration. Some unfortunate RV buyers may have been stuck with a lemon - and there are lemons out there! Some have not done their homework, have not carried out a thorough pre-delivery inspection, or have bought not knowing what to look for. We will, from time to time, hear from these people. We now have the proper procedures in place to deal with them in an appropriate manner.
If you have any suggestions about how we can make further improvements to this forum, please send a Personal Message (PM) to myself or the other two moderators. We are awaiting approval from the Administrator before other modifications that we have suggested to the Forum Categories/Topics can be implemented.

Sbebenelli:

Welcome to our little forum.
We certainly ARE trying our very best to bring the members
accurate and informative information.

Sometimes you have to weed out a few things/persons to get
the quality of members you want and we'll do our best to keep
a handle on any negative situation.

Again, Welcome!
