Hi All-
Question 1: What is the best type of sealant to use along the seam where my front cap meets the sides of the trailer. I noticed the sealant is starting to peel back from along the fastening strip (that has the vinyl trim insert to cover the screws) that covers the front cap/fiberglass sides seam. This strip runs vertically and the old sealant is definitely clear and not dicor. So what is the best sealant for that seam? Elastometric sealant?

Question 2: There is a sealant that runs on the underside of my rain gutter for about 12-14" starting on each end of the gutter (front and rear), but not in the middle 25' of the trailer. It is extremely visible when standing on the ground and looking straight up. It is also clear (though slightly discolored from aging). What is this sealant?

I know everyone says to NOT use silicone on the outsides, so I am trying to determine the best sealant to use for these repairs, since this stuff is obviously not dicor.
Thanks!

Are you sure it's not the non self leveling Dicor?

Question 2: maybe stuff called proseal. If it looks sort of like hot glue, then that’s what it’s called. PITA to remove.

Yep, sure does look a little like hot glue. I wasn't going to remove it, I wanted to add to the existing stuff and cover more of the bottom of the gutter along the length of the trailer.
