I skimmed through many of the threads on mattress toppers and I think I am more confused than before. We have used mattress toppers in our RVs for 40 plus years. We have a new 248RKS with a RV queen. What do folks like: Memory foam, Gel foam, Latex, or? I am 6"2" and 210 lbs and with a bad back I "Rotate" and adjust these old bones during the night. Plus I sleep "warm" which I know can be a problem with some foam toppers. Any advise and links would be much appreciated! Thanks and have a good weekend!

I would toss the old mattress and get a new one that is comfortable, my RV came with a horrible (not salvageable with a topper) mattress. Grandkids used original mattress for archery target, worked great.
Also, I had to lower my bed so new much thicker nice mattress would fit and give head room. Turned out, my bed had a 4" spacer added (to make 4" mattress higher) so my new 8" mattress, less spacer is now heaven, and fits perfectly.

We also suffered with our original RV King with a plush topper to make it a little better. Finally, a few years ago, we were in Fresno for a while and went to a custom mattress maker in town, and after trying out a number of different mattresses in their showroom, had a latex mattress made, stiffer latex foam in the middle and a bit softer latex foam on both top and bottom, (makes this mattress able to be flipped occasionally), and it's also an RV King with the radius corners. We have a high quality mattress pad/cover that makes it real cushy and we sleep like babies. They can make anything you desire, as firm or soft and out of anything you want, and much higher quality than ordinary mattresses. We've been very happy with our purchase. https://abetterbed.com/
