Trip to Eagle Nest NM. Cool weather, here we come!

Tomorrow morning we leave on our first real trip in our new FW. We plan to be gone 2 weeks. We want out of this 100+ degree weather. It is sucking the life out of us. Taking our two cocker spaniels. We will see how we all do. Can't wait for 45 degree mornings.
Unfortunately, we have to stop in Amarillo for an overnight on the way. Won't be so cool there.

Enjoy your trip, NM is one of my favorites. We just returned from a 6 week, 5k mile trip up the east coast. Leaving Florida in extreme heat looking for cooler weather we sure found it in Bar Harbor, Maine & Cape Cod, Mass. I must admit it felt good to sleep with socks on! Back in FL now & 95 degree heat, but we love it here, just a little to hot in the summer. Joe
