When go up to the next new Passport, in what appears to be 4 years, you'll probably need more truck.

the 2010 Passport was towed with a 2005 Dodge 2500 HD 5.7 Hemi .. in 5 yrs the truck had over 100,000 miles on it and never got better than 12 mpg empty or 11 mpg towing either the Passport or a 6100# bay boat ... so after driving dodges forever i bought a 2010 Toyota 5.7 tow package 4.33 rear 6 speed (3/4 ton .. yep scales don't lie) and got 17 - 18 mpg empty and 11 mpg towing the Passports (both the 2010 and 2014) .. now my wife and i both have Toyotas, hers is the 2016 and towing the 2018 Passport that is bumper to hitch 29.5' and 7400# loaded we still get between 10 and 11 mpg thru the hills here in Pa. Also, the dodges took a football field to turn around in and the toyatas can get in and out of parking places without backing ... i can not see the day when i would return to the dodges even though i am now an outcast to my all dodge family

let me explain why it seems like every 4 yrs i buy a new passport ... i live on a small farm, we no longer have horses, so i now park the TT in the forebay of the barn .... in 2013 we had a snow storm dump about 12" of snow and then turn quickly to an ice storm ... this brought the snow sliding off the barn roof 2 stories up onto the 2010 Passport which crushed the back 3 feet of the roof bad enough that you could not open the bathroom door ... Allstate totaled it after some discussion and i bought the 2014 passport ... i had never had a camper with a slide, so i did not think about the need to get around inside the camper with the slide in ... in short order it became evident we had made a mistake and started shopping for a more friendly floor plan ... now in our second passport with a slide, we have lots of room moving about with the slide in .. we can sit at the sofa and watch tv or get to the bathroom and the bedroom and the refrig and even cook ... and from this you would think i would have learned something ... but wait, this past march (2018) our NEW 2018 was sitting in the forebay of the barn and along came a snow storm, dumped 23" in a little over a day and 2 days later it turned warm and the snow slid off the barn roof and crushed the back 3 feet of the camper roof ... needed 6 roof trusses and roof replaced (nearly $7,000) ... Allstate has been very good to us ....

Have you gotten a renewal from Allstate yet?
They were very willing to "forgive" my couple claims, but come renewal time they sure as hell didn't "forget", premium tripled. I "forgave" them by switching insurance companies as quickly as I could.
"Your in good hands with Allstate" provided both of yours are full of cash!

my Allstate insurance has gone from about $65 for 6 mo. on the 2010, which they totaled, to about $76 for 6 mo. this past year for the 2018 .... this is an addon with my "auto policy" with full coverage ... i do NOT like my agent but have had NO problems dealing with Allstate ..
