Adding an AC vent in Bunks

Hello! I’m looking to add an AC vent in the top bunk area of our 272BHS. There’s a vent in the bathroom but none for the top bunk. It gets warm up there, and I’m hoping someone here has done this mod, or has an idea how to ! I was thinking of just cutting a vent into the bathroom to let that ac into the bunk area. In a perfect world I would love to tap into the existing duct work and do a professional type install of a vent in the ceiling. Any help would be great. Thanks!!!

The “duct” is most often just a track that is cut out of the solid insulation (styrofoam) and is often run the length of the coach. If you have a good inspection mirror I would simply take the vent out in the bathroom and look for the ducting.

If it’s there, then some careful measuring and a hole saw will work. Other than that, I would be Leary of putting a vent in the wall, without checking for wiring or plumbing.

We are considering doing this in our Bullet 243BHSWE. Ive got some ideas and plans drawn up that would create a external duct on the bathroom wall and then as mentioned cut through into the wall and come out in the bunk area. Just haven't had the time to do it. Anyone out there have wiring diagrams for the bullets? Would be nice to know whats in the wall.

AGREED !!! If you visit the factory, take a look at how they "run the wire looms" and you'll come to the conclusion that no two are wired the same....
