Soooo,
Hello all, I tried this once, not sure but maybe it was in the wrong place or, maybe there will be two introductions from me.
In any case my name is Scott. My wife and I are avid RVers and try to go at least every other week for approximately 9 months a year. Yes there may be a little snow from time to time but we love being out....even though she hates the cold.
We have camped together for 30 years and have done it all from tents, back of my elcamino, tent trailer, trailer, and now a fiver.
We currently have a 2016 Sprinter 298FWRLS and love it. It has all the “gee wiz” we need but not too fancy. I’ve made a fire upgrades/changes I feel all RV’s should have and a few I just feel WE needed. We have had absolutely no issues with our RV and have put quite a few miles on her in the first two years.
My biggest addition was 1100 w solar, battery, charger and wiring upgrades. I don’t like pulling in someplace last minute on a Thursday or Friday and not being able to plug in only to see a whole loop empty due to no hookups. Now, I can be “over there”.
We tow with a 2005 2500 Dodge/Cummins 4X4 and yes I’ve been through the injector/new motor/transmission issues, happy to say all new, upgrades and will never have those issues again. Still cheaper than a new pickup.
My background is mechanical USAF, electrical and electronics, no I’m not an engineer.
Hopefully I can be of some use here as I’m sure I’ll have some questions too.
Glad to be here, Scott

That’s one state so far we’ve only driven through. I hear it’s beautiful south and can’t wait to come explore!!
