I went to flush the black tank on my Fuzion 373. Hooked up fresh water to the connection marked for Black Tank Flush. Water seemed to be running, but also leaking quite a bit at the connection. Then water started coming out from under the camper. Cant see the source form outside or inside. Any ideas? also no additional water was flushing through the slinky. What did I fill/overflow?

We need more info: have you used the black tank flush before? if no, is the trailer brand new or used? Are you sure you had the black tank drain valve open?

The trailer is new. I had used it before and it leaked around the hose fitting but water went through. The termination valve was open.

I've heard that it is possible for the sprayer to come loose from the tank or the line to come loose from the sprayer. You mention no water inside the Fuzion so that would rule out the back flow preventer. When we use ours you can definitely hear the sprayer from inside the bathroom. Can you hear water spraying or water running under pressure? You might need to open the coroplast and have a look.

If it worked before, then it sounds like something broke or came loose. I would try to figure out how to get access to the plumbing for the black tank flush. On our Carbon, if you open the left side basement access door, there is a white shroud that covers the back side of the "convenience center" where the black tank flush connection is. If I remove that shroud, I can see and access a lot of the plumbing hoses and connections. Hopefully your trailer is similar and the problem is there. Accessing the area where the flush plumbing actually connects to the black tank itself is probably more difficult. Others more familiar with your particular trailer may have more insight. Good luck!

I flooded the bathroom the first time I tried to us mine. The valve under the bathroom sink was bad. Replaced it with a new one and have never used it again. That was 5 years ago.

gerytb, Howdy;

Not ALL of the back flow preventers are under the lavy sink. Mine is just inside
the wall where the hose attachment is, sprung a leak and I noticed water dripping
into my pass-through storage area. Access was from the entertainment center's
side storage area :facepalm:. Anyway, my point is to look the entire system over, could be the back flow preventer, or could be a fitting that came apart. Ya
won't know till ya look. Happy huntin', please let us know what ya find so it can
be passed along to the next person that has "the problem". Also helps us better if you also tell us what model your RV is (narrows the hunting ground).

We recently discovered a similar leak in our Cougar. Checked as much as we could without taking the underbelly off. No leaks inside, clear water coming out the bottom. Still under warranty so have an appointment later this month to have CW fix it.
Good luck!
