Have you camped in West Virginia, if so where? If you have had thoughts of camping in WV where would you like to visit. If you have camped in WV where, and what was your experience? I apologize, trying to promote my state as well as looking for new places to camp. I'm always on the hunt for that next destination, that is what I love about camping.

Lots of nice places, we like Watoga State Park, only electric and it’s rough on the GreenBriar River Trail.Coopers rock is pretty nice too.

You are not going to get your Cougar into many (if any) of the sites, but one of our favorite areas is the Williams River. We leave the big camper at home for this one and take the Aliner.

There was a lot of damage in the 2016 floods but they are working art getting it back into shape.

It depends, the sites are pretty decent in size but the road isn't super wide. Probably ok to 32 or 35 footer. I’d call the park first though

We typically have stayed North to North East in the Tucker, Pendelton, Mon County Area. Early in the season we stayed at Smoke Hole Caverns, which has about 10 Full Hook Up sites. We just visited Five River Camp Ground in Parson, which is by far our favorite so far in WV. Does anyone have a favorites from the middle to the southern part of the state?

We have visited the Green Bank Telescope compound a number of times. It is very interesting, but tucked away of course in Green Bank, West Virginia.

We have stayed at Watoga State Park twice, but you better call to see if your rig will fit.
