Onan 5500 generator

Getting ready to go on a 4 day dry camping trip with the new trailer. My question is i will be runni g the generator a few hours each day for the ac unit as we will have some hot weather. Will the generator take the heat ok or should i do something different.

As long as the gen is “vented” correctly it will be fine. If it was installed at the factory, I would say your good to go, we 4un them in 100 degree plus heat for hours with no problem. Your gen should have an overheat shutdown feature if all else fails. Run it and stay cool.
