I’d like to mount a generator on a newly purchased 2018 Bullet Premier 22rbpr. Does this jeopardize warranty coverage? If not, any advice for where the best mounting location would be? Any advice and guidance is appreciated!

Does the trailer have a receiver hitch? If so, what is its capacity?
Does the trailer have a factory cargo tray? What is its capacity?
What does the generator weigh?

Why not in the box of the truck?

I'm thinking about a 3100w unit that will weigh some 110 lbs fully loaded. Does not have a receiver or cargo tray. I tow with a Dodge Durango with dogs so no room in the car. Hoping to mount a lockable box. Thanks for your input.

So here is a popular 3100 w Inverter type generator.

I'd recommend having a welding shop that builds/installs receiver hitches install a 2" receiver welded to the frame at the rear of the Bullet. Then you can purchase a cargo tray ( 200 lb minimum rating, 500 would be better) made to attach to the receiver. From there you can build or buy a lockable box but these units need to breath and are air cooled so be careful about allowing for ample air flow.

Weld the receiver to the frame. Do not attach it to the bumper.

Ok that’s real helpful. The Champion unit you sent is the exact one I’ve been focusing on but thinking about the “Dual-Fuel” model. Rest makes good sense to me.

Any specific experience with that particular generator/inverter model?
