I just got 2, 30A extension cords (1 from Costco and the other from Amazon). But one says it's 110V and the other is 125V?? One is a Arcon and the other Conntek. I tried to Google an answer but no luck. 17083

There is really no difference between the two. AC voltage standards are actually 120 volts and 240 volts that utilities are supposed to supply, with 5% allowed up or down. Either one of those cords will work just fine.

When it comes to wire there are 2 ratings that are controled by 2 different factors. 1. is amp rating which is controled by the conductor size, the smaller the guage ( which means a larger conductor, just like a 12 guage shotgun shell is larger than a 16 guage) And 2 the voltage rating that is controlled by the insulation surrounding the conductor(s). With that being said, it could be a matter of how it was advertised as by the label they are both UL listed either on is fine. Now my question. Why 2 extension cables? If you are planning on using both with the cable that came with the camper then you may have a problem as 30 amp via a #10 wire is good for a maximum of 50 feet. If your extending that cable to 75' then you need to go one conductor size larger.

Thanks everyone! I bought 2 because I didn't know which would come in the mail first and needed it for camping. I'm returning one but didn't know which. It's good to know, not to put 2 together though. I didn't know that.
