We ordered and are expecting delivery of our new 2019 Cougar 34TSB this weekend. We are pretty excited! We will be pulling with a 2017 Chevy Duramax crew cab.

Will be camping with wife, two daughters (12 & 11) and two dogs :)

I'm looking forward to exploring the wealth of knowledge that I'm sure is available here.
And hopefully contributing as my experience with this camper increases.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. When we look back, many of our happiest memories are camping as a family. These days, being off the grid is even better when it come to family time. Enjoy every campfire.

Congrats on the new trailer and welcome to the forum!! We have a great membership that has tons of knowledge and a willingness to help!!

Like many others here, my kids (50 & 45) still talk about camping when they were small. There are many memories to be made and a definite reason to be excited. Every time I go into our RV; see inside, smell (all the memories sort of just pop up)....it's all I can do not to just grab the truck, hitch up and take off! Good luck to you and the family.

When the trailer comes in be sure and print the PDI list from the forum to use before you take the trailer. It will help you immensely and definitely give you a head start on ownership. When you get it, let us know and be sure and ask any/all questions you may have. These folks have saved my bacon more than once:)

Hope you are excited as we are to take delivery Salty :)

Yesterday I successfully installed a 50amp RV pedestal where we will be parking at home so we can plug in and enjoy at home as well. We are in the country so it's easy to pretend :)

Also just ordered a Furrion Observation Camera due to reading posts on this forum :)

Monday can't come soon enough!

I ordered a 50 amp surge protector and read on here I should be using a 30 amp. I called the dealer and they verified it is a 30 amp. So I ordered a new one and will return the 50 amp when it arrives.

For me it's more getting ready for my second retirement then anything. We are going to make a few trips to get used to RV traveling. I am then going to do a hard evaluation on if I want to keep working or not. This will be my second retirement so I'm thinking, NOT.
